Since quite a while I am looking for a new plane in the 50E class (1.5m wingspan, 5 Lipo cells) to replace my former Extreme-Flight Extra 58". I finally found this really nice SU 26 at Modellbau Lindinger. The equipment from my EF-Extra should fit perfectly (Torque Outrunner, Airboss Controller, 5 cells Tanics 3700 mAh.
The little Sukhoi was finished during a few evenings without hurrying. It flies really well. Agility in 3D comparable to the EF-Extra. Same amount of knife-edge coupling. Besides that, perfectly neutral and nice snap behaviour. The ailerons are not that big, but the rolling velocity is sufficient for everything if you go to the mechanical limit with the deflections (approx. 45 deg).

FROGGY SU - 05-21-2010
I'm already busy getting the CARF SU-31 3m in the air. Gotta mill some parts still, but I hope this will be finished during the next few days. With the help of those, I'm ready to install all the equipment and do the maiden flight sometimes in June.
I had a special idea concerning the pilot this time. This cute little fellow could be bought at Ikea some time ago. I had to cut it and get the soft material out, which I replaced by foam sheets to make it a bit stiffer and lighter.
You can see the impressive dimensions at the pictures. The SU is as high and volumenous as the 3m Yak, but as long as the SuperXtra. I'm really curious how it performs already!

ITALIAN TOC TRAILER RELEASED - 05-09-2010
I had a great time at the 1st Italian TOC in 2009. You definitly shouldn't miss this great new competition located right in the middle of Italy's most beautiful region close to the sea.
This year's ITOC will happen from October 15-17th, when it's still summer down there.
The guys did an amazing job with the Trailer on YouTube and their Website. See you there, hopefully!
